I was first introduced to soccer around the age of 5, but it wasn't until I was 8 years old when I moved to Germany for a year that it became the sport I love today. Soccer was the one familiar thing I could connect to my life back in America and helped make that time there a success. It was upon my return home that I knew this was a part of my life that can not be taken away. Soccer would become my identity.
Defense…The positions critiqued but never highlighted. I am a true center back and have played at multiple levels throughout my development. I’ve played club, E64, NL Pro, and ODP Regional. I currently play at the ECNL National level and am a varsity starter at Whitefish Bay High School. As a freshman, I received the Defensive Player Award and 1st Team All Conference - Defense. I am versatile in what I can do on the field. When needed, I can transition to outside back easily or even right wing to drive crosses into the box when attacking is a must. In addition, I played basketball for a couple years before making the decision to focus on soccer and training.
Academically, I am very competitive with myself. I currently hold a perfect GPA and am in the top of my class. My favorite subjects are math and science and I plan on pursuing an advanced medical degree upon graduating from a great academic institution. Education comes first, but I need to have a great time achieving this while competing at a high level in the sport I love - futball.
My goal is to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom as much as I can on the field. Having the right coaches who know when to push and when to provide teaching moments for continued growth and development is key. Knowing the coaches have a genuine interest in me as a player and a person is very important. For me, being part of a team where there is genuine respect and encouragement is critical as a first year collegiate player joining the family.
