Personal Statement
I’ve grown up playing sports in a small town in Wyoming. I started playing soccer since the time I could walk, it has always been a fun game for me. In my town it’s not a big sport, during traveling soccer I had to play on a boys team. My experience playing soccer has shaped me into the person and player I am today. From playing hockey, volleyball, basketball and soccer they have all help me be the best athlete I could be. On my high school team I started varsity since freshman year. My team and I have overcame a lot of adversity which has helped me become a better leader and player. We made it to the state tournament for the first time in school history!! At the end of the year I finished top 5 in scoring and top 20 for assists in the state, and braking 3 school records my sophomore year. I hope to achieve more with my team my junior year. With all the help from my many coaches and teammates, I think that I have become a better person from it. I believe with my positive work ethic and pure athleticism I would be a great asset to any team I’m on.
