I am an excellent choice for a collegiate team, because I’m dedicated and determined to do well in and out of the pool. Spending time with my team and competing with them has created some of the best memories and friends and I truly value the opportunities this sport has given me. Even though I spend a lot of time in the pool, academics are very important to me. I not only want to work hard in the pool but also in the classroom. I am blessed to attend school at Westminster Christian Academy where I participate in National Honors Society, Beta Club, Key Club, the AP program, and of course the swim team! Through my club team I also participate in a program called Swim for Success, where the swimmers from my team can volunteer to give back to the community through free swim lessons to kids who don't have the opportunity we were given.
