2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I aspire to be not just another athlete, but a true member of the team. I have been through countless hardships with my health throughout my career in swimming. However, none of these setbacks have made me quit, but instead have made me a stronger swimmer both mentally and physically. Every time I am pushed down I get right back up. I want to be able to share this energy with a college team, and swim my heart out no matter what because the fact that I can swim is not a grueling job, but a privilege.
