Personal Statement

When I was little, my dad threw me in the water. That sparked the greatest decision I have ever made: to become a swimmer. Swimming brings me a type of joy nothing else can; it is the missing piece that completes the puzzle. My love for the sport has taught me 110% commitment no matter what. Being a student athlete for most of my life, I am experienced in sorting my priorities; I am positive that I will be able to get good grades while improving my times. I know that I am qualified to take on any challenge. Competing at a collegiate level has always been a dream of mine that I am determined to turn into a reality.
