Kale Burk '25 Recruiting Profile

My main goal is to go as far as I can in this sport because it is my passion. I believe that I am a very positive and driven person and I am always willing to help my teammates with anything they may need help with. I see my self as a very coachable athlete I enjoy finding tiny things in my strokes I need to work on in practice and then being able to use the new adjustments in races. I tend to work well with people who also are students of this sport and who can push me and I can push them. Freshman year was a really hard academic adjustment for me because it was the first year back after covid and not being in school for two years. I didn't really know how to work at school because my whole middle school experience was all on line and now feels like a fever dream. Thankfully this year (sophomore year) I understand how everything works and I also understand the amount of effort school takes. With this new understanding I have been able to make adjustments my study time and focus for school.
