Anna Bautista '11 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'7" and a senior this year at Seaside High School in Seaside, CA. I have been swimming for about 11 years now on Seaside Aquatic Club. I have made it be the main priority and focus in my life. I was Captain of my high school team last year and will be again this year, I am also a captain-like figure on my club team and like to set good examples in and out of the pool for the younger kids. I am always the first in the water and one of the last to get out. Ever since I was younger and started taking this sport seriously, it has been my dream to swim in college. I am looking for a college where I can either become a dentist, physical therapist, or a psychologist; I am still undecided on what I want to be. I am open to any type of college environment, big or small is fine with me. I would prefer the West Coast but I am open to the East Coast as well. I just want to be able to feel welcomed at whatever campus I end up at. I hope to make an impact on a team my freshman year and the years to follow. Financial assistance is important and is well-needed in my family. It would help us out a lot in the process of getting me into the next level of my swimming and academic career.
