2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I want to swim in college because swimming has been my passion since I was five years old. The sense of belonging and built in friendships that come with being a part of a team are awesome. I would love to continue to improve my swim times in college, as I have been every year of my career so far. Maybe get to NCAAs. I also want to be a valuable asset to the team I join. I am extremely diverse in my ability to swim just about any race. This is evidenced by my 11 Sectionals cuts. Another reason I am a good candidate for college teams is that I am extremely dedicated and hard working. I am a team player and supportive of my teammates. My HS Coach said at my freshman year awards banquet, "When I asked her club coaches what Remi was like as a person they told me she was the nicest, sweetest kid who was kind to everyone. Until you put her on the block. And then watch out as that quiet kid turns into a competitive animal."

- started age 8 in Cat 2. Moved to teen practices (Cat 4) age 11. Now Cat 5: 8 practices a week (3 morning, 5 evening) 5000-6500 yards building to 7500-8000 in peak season. Some dryland: mostly injury prevention.
