Hi, my name is Maddie (Madison) Black. I am a sophomore at Mead high school in Longmont, CO. I would love to be a collegiate swimmer. I started competing in swimming at around age 8 during summer league. Just this year I started swimming club. Some of my goals are to be top 8 in the high school season at the state meet, and to qualify for junior nationals some day. I currently have a 3.9 GPA, while balancing high school swimming, club swimming, volleyball and a job. Some of the huge influences in my life are my parents, and my high school coach, Debbie Stewart. She has been with me since I was 8 years old, and she is the person that shaped me into the swimmer I am today. I would be a great addition to any college team because I am a huge team player. I love cheering on my teammates at meets and in practices. I am good under pressure, and I can rise to the occasion I also would qualify for the First Generation Scholarship offered at many colleges and look forward to representing my family and making them proud!
I am open to all locations and look forward to appreciating the different characteristics of schools. I am interested in hearing from any school. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am very excited to see where my athletic path will take me.
