Personal Statement
I have been swimming for as long as I can remember and can't imagine not continuing my career as I continue my education. I am a dedicated student and an equally dedicated swimmer. I am very eager to get my name out into the collegiate swimming world as I can't wait to see what it brings me. I am not hesitant to take charge of what is best for me and others. I can supply many examples where I have taken on a leadership role for a school or community event. Not only do I give my school and community a lot of time and commitment, but I give every practice, and every set my absolute effort. Although I always have my swimming in mind, I am an enthusiastic team member and am always willing to meet and work with new people.
