Addison Markoja '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Addison Markoja. I am in 10th grade and a 15-year-old female swimmer from Meriden, Connecticut. I have been swimming since I was five years old and absolutely love the sport and everything that comes with it. I am a very motivated and self-driven individual in the pool, at the gym, and in the classroom, always shooting to go above and beyond. Through swimming, I have learned the importance of leadership and never giving up. No matter what issues or obstacles I've gone through or will go through, I have never and will never give up on achieving my goals, and that's something I pride myself on. From swimming all these years, I've learned so many leadership skills and how to hold myself accountable to always show my best to everyone around me and not let them see me down. With my team, I want to be a leader and set an example for these newer kids to the sport that I love and cherish so much on how to act, as well as just showing them that someone is always there for them whenever they need support. Academically, I always want to learn more and challenge myself while also maintaining a high GPA. I'm never going to give up on my goals or my team, which is why I would be an awesome addition to your team to compete on the higher level.
