Personal Statement

I have been competing in sports since the age of 4. I work hard in everything I do, including sports and academics. I have been a straight A student from kindergarten all the way to my current school year. I have taken AP and dual enrollment classes through high school and now, as a senior, I have early admitted into college through the dual enrollment program. When I was competing competitively in triathlons I didn't have enough time to become too fast at swim due to the training for three sports. However, when I switched to only swimming at the age of 16, I became extremely determined to work hard in order to drop time. As a freshman, I missed making high school swim states by about 10 seconds in the 500 free. For my sophomore and junior years, I qualified for states in the 200 free and the 500 free. I look forward to pursuing my love for swimming this coming high school season, spring season, and hopefully in my college years.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
