I learned how to swim at the age of three. Since then, my parents have said I was born to swim. Initially, I swam recreationally on Miramar Regional Park’s Swim Team up until the age of twelve. In December 2011, I tried out for South Florida Aquatic Club (SOFLO) and have been swimming with them since January 2012. Additionally, I swim for Somerset Academy High School and intend on being captain during the 2015-2016 school year. I strive to become fast enough to earn a scholarship to a Division I University and swim for Nigeria. Not only do I want to be in the swimming program of a Division I University, but I would also like to study Political Science. For graduate school, I aim to study Law and then become a CIA Agent or a Prosecution Lawyer, a dream of mine ever since I was young.
