I am currently 17 years old- A junior at the Lovett School in Atlanta Georgia, and in my fifth season with Dynamo Swim Club. I had played club soccer for almost as long as I had been swimming up until about 4 years ago. I let go of soccer because I had always wanted to swim in college, and I was more than ready to begin pursuing that dream. Because I have had the experience of playing a team sport such as soccer, I bring the essential qualities of support, encouragement, humility, focus and excitement that I believe are keys to a great teammate.
Aside from athletics, I take my academics very seriously. I am an honors student and focus on my grades just as much as I focus on my sport. I have always had a love for English and writing and am hopeful to major in something within those fields, especially journalism. However, I am also interested in other fields with more diverse studies such as law, real estate, or sports medicine.
