Swimming has been a key piece of my life since I first began swimming competitively 7 years ago. The sport has shaped my character, discipline, and ambitions, leading me to pursue collegiate swimming with a passion that drives me both in and out of the water. I aim to excel both academically and athletically, finding a balance that allows me to thrive as a student-athlete. I aspire to contribute to a swim team that values hard work, perseverance, and teamwork. I believe in leading by example, showing up early to practice, and maintaining a positive attitude, even during tough sets. My academic interests are in biological and health sciences, ultimately, I want to graduate as a well-rounded individual ready to make significant contributions in my professional field and the sport I love. In the pool, I have consistently pushed myself to go beyond my limit, demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges. I am always eager to learn from my coaches and peers to refine my technique and strategy. I feel that I have not yet reached my fastest speed and I am hoping to achieve this through my college career. Additionally, outside of the pool, I bring a unique perspective through my involvement in many clubs and organizations associated with environmental advocacy and restoration and spending time outdoors in Hawai'i.
