My collegiate goals and aspirations are having the opportunity to continue competitively participating in this amazing sport and also to be able to train at a high enough level that I can continue to drop time in the events that I swim. In terms unrelated to swimming, my goals are to study, work hard, earn good grades, but then also have a fun loving college experience, make new friends, and become an active member in my future community. I would be an awesome candidate for your team because I am highly motivated, focused, hard working, and I will always train, compete, and participate to the very best my abilities. I am different from other recruits because I tend to keep my competitiveness out of practice, meaning, I am not trying to be the fastest on my team and become overly competitive when comparing my times to theirs, instead, I work on beating my own times and racing myself. I am my primary opponent. Another reason I would be a good candidate is, I am the team mate that will always be there for my other team members, I will listen to them if they need to rant, I will cry with them if they need to cry, I will celebrate with them for their accomplishments, and overall, I will always be there for them because I strongly believe that my teams is a family, and we are all only as strong as our weakest member.
