Personal Statement
As a competitive athlete of several years, I understand the importance of having the qualities of motivation, dedication, and drive to maximize my swimming potential. These same qualities are applied to my academic career and have led to success in ways such as holding a position in National Honor Society and maintaining a GPA of 3.66. College coaches can depend on my effective time management skills regarding scholarly and athletic affairs. I always get my work done on time and prioritize grades and athletics above all else. In a swim team, I look for an environment that pushes me past my limits, I look for a group of people that support each other and feel like family, and I look for coaches that will help me not only reach, but go beyond my goals.
