Mary Kate Gannon '19 Recruiting Profile

Swimming has been a very big part of my life over the last ten years.  I am interested in furthering my swimming and academic career in college.  Over the past three years in high school, I have seen swimming at a D1 college as being one of my ultimate goals.  I love the atmosphere of a team that works together in and out of the pool.  Having a strong team by my side has always pushed me to work harder and reach goals I would never have been able to do on my own.  The girls, who surround me everyday all day, inspire me to keep pushing myself.   I'm very excited to further that team aspect during my college years.  

For most of my life, I have been committed to swimming which has opened amazing opportunities for me.  Swimming has allowed me to become more driven, confident, and I cannot imagine my life without it.  I love going to practice and working harder than I had the day before.  I am interested in finding a team that challenges me, has a strong team atmosphere, and pushes me to my greatest potential.
