2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Since my earliest memories, I have loved the water. I would keep jumping in the pool and almost drowning to the point where my parents had to sign me up for lessons at an early age. Since then, I have always competed to be the best in the pool. I love every single event but my specialties are the 200 free and 100 fly, which I swam in the 2021 futures in Alabama. I can not imagine life without swimming and know that I want to do so in college. It brings me joy, and I love to be the first person to jump in the pool every day.
Every day at practice I think it is important to have a good attitude and motivate others. Some practices can be tough but when you are surrounded by the friends you have made, it makes it a lot better. I have always gotten along well with my past coaches and always listen to what they have to say and incorporate their advice into my swimming.
If you need a strong athlete who never quits and pushes to be better each day, both in and out of the pool, I am the team member you want.
