2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Swimming at the collegiate level has always been a personal long-term goal of mine. Swimming is more than just a sport; it is a passion that I hope to continue for as long as I possibly can. I love the challenge of competitive swimming almost as much I adore the team atmosphere. The relationships that I have created over the past 5 years of my swimming career (with both teammates and coaches) are the most important bonds that I think that I will ever have. I know how to work hard and be optimistic, for myself, as well as for my team.
Along with hard work in the pool, I try to challenge myself as much as I can academically. I am currently taking honors courses in all of my core classes, and hold a 4.2 Grade Point Average.
I am personally looking for a college that will be competitive both in and out of the water. As well as this, I hope to add my positivity and admiration for the sport to a college level team.
