Hi my name is Emily Cutler. I am 17 years old and currently studying at Mount Kelly in the UK. I have attended this school for 3 years. I Started learning swim when I was 2. After I turned 7 I moved to Rugby swimming club, this was the local swim club. Whilst I was swimming at Rugby I achieved a lot of Pbs and managed to make Midlands. This was the start to my whole swimming career. After I made Midlands with Rugby I moved to Nuneaton and Bedworth in 2010. I spent 2 years swimming for Nuneaton, I continued to make Midlands every year 2011 and 2012. in the year 2012 I made the ASA nationals with 4 Events, 100back/free 200back/free. After making Nationals in 2012, I carried on swimming for them until April 2013. In April I moved down to Devon to start Mount Kelly, a school specialised in swimming. I made Nationals again that year (2013) with 8 events, 100/200back, 100/200/400free, 200fly and 200/400IM. In 2014 I managed to make British Championships (Commonwealth trials) in the 100/200back, I made the final in the 200back going in 8th and managing to place a 6th with a PB. 2014 Nationals came around in the summer, where I managed to make 7 events that year. Made 2 semi finals in the 100/200back. Going into the 2015 season was tough but still managed to make British Summer nationals and ASA English Nationals. At the British Nationals I swam 2 relays, 4x100 and the 4x200 free relays. I picked up a bronze medal in the 4x100 Free relay for Mount Kelly. The week after British Summer Nationals had finished I went to race on at the ASA English Nationals where I swam the 50/100/200 Backstroke and 50 Fly. Over them 5 days I made finals for all my backstroke events placing solid PBs and also winning 3 Gold medals in all 3 backstroke events, which made me 3x National Champion for my age group. This left me in a good place for the next season. 2016 season has started off well as I qualified for the Olympic trails in April.
I am very approachable and easy to get along with. I am one of the best recruits you will fine as I put all efforts into my swimming and my school work as I want to achieve the best I can. I want to attend a college where I can strive in the pool and the classroom. I have also helped at the Mount Kelly swim school this April. I want to find a college where it will give me the best opportunities and show that I can do the best I can do. I am open to many options as I want to find a college that will match with a high competition level. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers around and make my parents very proud.
