Personal Statement

I am a 5'6.5" swimmer from Elizabethtown, KY. I hold six individual high school records and two relay records. I am a breaststroker/IM but I will swim the other events. I want to continue with competitive swimming while in college. I am looking for a college/university where I can obtain a degree in some science field. A Christian environment would be ideal. I am looking for a college that will offer great scholarships. I am adopted by my grandparents and keeping them from having to spend their retirement money for me is not what I want them to do. I am willing to travel outside of Kentucky. I am not really looking to swim in a big Div 1 but maybe a small Div 1, Div 2 or 3.
