Anna Doherty '20 Recruiting Profile

I would really love to continue my swimming career by being able to swim on a collegiate level. College swimming is an aspiration of mine that I would like to achieve by being able to swim at a school where I can contribute to the team and achieve higher goals of mine. It excites me to know that my athleticism can be brought to a level where I can add to the team goals and atmosphere. I feel that growing up in a town where academics are extremely competitive has pushed me to try to reach my highest potential as a student. Similarily in swimming on gator swim club, a top ranked USA swim team in Massachusetts, I have always been pushed and trained to becoming a better, faster swimmer. But through my team we are not only coached to becoming physically better, but we are taught to have character and confidence to better ourselves in life, and I feel that this overall enhances me as a more well rounded person.
