Personal Statement
I’ve been swimming since I was 9. I like to joke that I was recruited at 9 years old. I was taking swim lessons with my brother at the YMCA and the swim coach at the time said to my parents, “she’s gotta be on the swim team.” So I resigned from Little League Baseball and started swimming competitively. Swimming is one of my passions. I aspire to major in Forensic Psychology and become a Juvenile Corrections Counselor. I hope to follow both of my passions to the collegiate level.
