Personal Statement
I am a 5’2” IM and freestyler from Shrewsbury, MA. I swam on the Shrewsbury High School varsity swim team for the past three years and am starting my fourth year this coming winter as one of the team’s captains. I have been swimming with my recreational team for 10+ years and continue to swim with them this year. For three years (from 2014 to the summer of 2017), I was on a USA club team. I have a 3.2/4.0 GPA and a 1190 SAT score.
I am looking for a school where I will be able to continue to grow and develop both in and outside of the pool. As of right now, I do not know what major I want to pursue, so I have been looking at liberal arts schools with a wide range of majors. I am looking at smaller local institutions (ideally in MA, CT, and RI area) with a DIII or club team, where I will be able to contribute to the team.
