Morgan Kraus '19 Recruiting Profile

Since I have been ten years old, I have loved swimming. I had always loved playing in the water as a kid, and I put that to use in the fifth grade. Something about pushing yourself mentally and physically while pushing others to do the same fit well with me. I had such a dream and drive to be better, I went to extra practices so that I could get faster. Although a lot has changed since then, I pride myself on the fact that my dream and drive to be a faster swimmer has not changed. I know that I will put in the extra effort to get where I want to be, whether that is in or out of the pool.

One of the things I am most proud of is being a part of my high school swim team. I am honored to be a part of such a wonderful group of girls and contribute to the team. Through our teamwork as a team, we were D1 State Champions in the 2016 season. I always do my best to be a team player, and try to congratulate everyone after their races or wish them good luck beforehand. I believe this is one of my best assets, and this makes me a good addition to the high school team.

In my five years of swimming, I have had a lot of experience at many different level meets. From age group state, to D1 high school state, to USA Futures meet, I can perform anytime because I train myself to put forth my best all the time.
