I am a very dedicated person, both as a student and in the pool. At school I push myself to take advanced courses in multiple subject areas. My advance placement history class is currently my favorite class. When it comes to swimming I train hard every chance I get and always look for more opportunities to improve. I wish to continue swimming when I reach college because I love the sport and wish to become the best I can be.
Swimming has taught me to prioritize my time. I am very good at balancing my time between swim events, such as practices and meets, and homework for school. While I am undecided as to a major presently, I know I want to continue my education and hope to swim while doing so.
I believe the best part of swimming is the relationships I have made. Swimming both club and high school has allowed me to meet other swimmers all over the state and country. While I enjoy competing I think keeping in touch with all of my swim friends is equally important to me.
