Ruthann Seltz '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Ruthie Seltz (it's a preferred name). I aspire to swim for the rest of my life and am willing to push my limits to be successful. I have been committed to swimming since I was about four years old. My goal would be to break 5:30 in the 500 free. Unfortunately in my first year of high school swimming I sustained a hip injury. Although, I did continue to work, I did not preform to the best of my ability. I hope to have a better preform better in the USA program and high school season. In my second year, I transferred to Canton High School and placed top times in my 500 free, 100 breast, and 100 back. Along side of swimming I play lacrosse and am training for triathlons. I am in AP classes and am a year above my academic grade standards for the state of Michigan. I am hopeful to swim in college and at a professional level.  Thank you for your consideration.
