Not only do I love swimming, but I am very academically focused, and am in the top 13 of my class with a 3.7 GPA. I started swimming right before I turned 12, which some may say I was a late bloomer, but I say, it allowed me time to search for my niche and to develop a passion; which for me is swimming. My coaches describe me as a talented swimmer with a huge focus on hard work and determination, with a bright future in swimming. Not only am I a dedicated swimmer, I am also very involved in my community. My parents own a Fitness Center, where I not only train at, but I also help work and teach people about their health and fitness. I am a Student Council Vice President of the Junior class, and in doing so I work over 60+ service hours throughout the course of the year. I am also a member of the National Honor Society Science Club, and I was nominated for GFWC Mina Sauk Sophomore-Girl-of the-Month. I am very involved in our churches youth group. I am an enthusiastic team leader and am very passionate about my swimming. My family & I live in a rural community with no access to a swim team, so we make a 3 hour round trip commute to swim practice on a daily basis; so to say I'm anything but focused & driven would be an understatement. I effectively balance school, swimming, and family life daily. I hope to hear from you soon.
