Hello my name is Haven Casillas and I have been swimming on a club team since I was 8. I have always had a love for the water, and I got used to smelling like chlorine 24/7. In 8th grade I had made it to state for my high school swim team. As my high school swim career continued I have made it to state ever year in relays and individual events. I have been the high point female swimmer on my team for two years now.
As high school flies by I have been thinking what I want to do for college, and I couldn't imagine to stop competing in swimming. No matter what I do I strive to do my very best. I am first in my class for academics, I also play varsity volleyball, and I am in various clubs at my school. So swimming for college would be amazing opportunity for me. In college I am planning on getting a master's degree in chemical or biomedical engineering. By my senior year I will have passed Calculus 3. I have been ahead in math since 6th grade and in high school been able to take classes in the summer to prepare me for college math.
I know that doing a sport in college takes so much hard work and dedication, but I know it's nothing I can't handle. No matter what I do God is on my side and I can do anything. I have always been a Christian and I would love if I was giving the opportunity to swim for a Christian college. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
