August 2021Personal Statement
I've been swimming competitively for 10 years. My persistence has let me join the Girls Varsity Swim Team at the age of 11 in 2019. I surround myself with teammates who are very hardworking and determined. I believe a part of swimming is working together and believing in yourself. Working collectively as a team is extremely crucial as it reflects on various things such as: successful relays, individual events, technique, speed, and best personal times. Swimming is about teamwork, support, competition and most importantly self-discipline, and focus. My goal is to swim competitively in college. The future coaches and teammates I see myself with are supportive, mentally and physically strong, passionate, competitive, and committed.
