2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Hi, my name is Praise Oseahume Okodogbe, I am 14 years old and in 10th grade. I have been swimming since I was a child, and I have since then, enjoyed swimming. Swimming has made such a great impact on me when it comes to my everyday life because I have been so many championships like Zones and Junior Olympics in places like Florida, Maryland, and Texas. The experience of these places taught me a lot. I have always made in goal to reach my highest potential in swimming no matter what it takes. My best events in swimming is the 100 and 200 butterfly, and the 50 freestyle. My goal in swimming is to make it to the Olympics, and my goal for college, is to study and excel in business and economics so that I can be a lawyer and own my own law firm. I believe that I am a good candidate for the team because of how much passion I have in swimming.
- I always put 110% in every swimming stroke, and no matter how I feel, I always challenge myself to do better. I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me the strength and ability to swim. Thank you for reading this and God bless you!!!
