Personal Statement
I've been swimming since I was eight years old, doing so year-round for my high school and club teams! I feel that I am a very dedicated and hard worker, and have been attending swim camps since 2018. In terms of high school swimming, I'm a 2x state champion in the 100yd back, and a 1x state champion in the 100yd fly. I also have the school record in both of those events. Additionaly, I have placed top 16 at high school state since seventh grade. For club swimming, my team does mean a lot to me as well, since this is the only club team I've been on. I am currently an Athlete-rep for my team, and have had some amazing oppurtunities throughout my swimming career. I attented Central Zones ages 10-14, and have been able to go to both spring and summer Speedo Sectionals. I also got to swim at Futures in West Fargo this past summer! I hope to qualify for Junior Nationals and possibly the US Open in the future. My education is also very important to me, and I've been an avid learner since elementary school. I take my classes seriously, and like to challenge myself with AP's!
