My heart is in swimming. Going to practice and competing at meets is what makes me happy. One of my favorite memories from swimming is when I made the Junior Olympic time cut and I felt so proud of myself for that accomplishment. My passion for success is what fuels my swimming career. Swimming has given me so much happiness and provided me with so many friends and memories, and that is what has pushed me to become dedicated to the sport. Valuable life lessons like determination and being happy for others are taught in swimming. I love swimming and it is what makes me truly happy. My heart is in swimming because I would rather spend my Friday nights and weekends at a meet or at swim practice with my team rather than going out with friends or partying.
I would be a great asset to a College team. I have dedication and I work hard in practice and meets. I would contribute my positive attitude and strong work ethics to my future college team. When I practice and compete I give my absolute best and push as hard as I possibly can. Some of my strengths are that I never give up and that I have self-discipline. If I am faced with a challenge, I put my best effort forward to overcome it. My self-discipline helps me stay on track and complete the goals I have set for myself. College swimming will help me continue my swimming career and further my times to the best they can be.
What I look for in college swimming is a team that will build my skills and push me to my limits. I want a coach who will make personal relationships with all of his athletes and help the along the way. I hope to be eligible for scholarships from schools. Athletic and academic scholarships are my goals for going into college. I believe I have the dedication and motivation to qualify myself for both type of scholarships. Swimming for a college team is one of my dreams in life and I will push myself so I am able to complete these goals.
