Ella Sigman '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I know I may be young in your eyes to be asking for a scholarship, but from what I have read, I have to start asking as soon as I am wise enough to ask!  I have been competitively swimming since I was eight (8).  I want to convince you how strongly I feel about swimming.  I plan on continuing to be a dynamic swimmer and a positive influence on the team you coach.  As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college swimming career, I will strive to be an asset.  Most importantly, I will always conduct myself with honor and respect in and out of the pool, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches, the school I attend, and most important, my Mom and Dad.

I have been told that I have the knowledge to do all four strokes very well along with the passion to perform optimally at both practices and meets.  I am always willing to help my teammates understand drills and is just an all around model swimmer.  I try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates.  I want you to see me display my loyalty, my dedication, my perseverance and my diligence every time you see me in the pool.

Off the court, I study hard and maintain a high GPA.  I want to attend the college that will allow me to push myself in the classroom and in the pool.  I ultimately want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I may be level-headed, but am highly competitive.  I hope to become a great role model to all peers and again, make my parents proud.
