Linda Ferguson '13 Recruiting Profile

        My name is Linda Ferguson and I am a junior in high school at Kirkland Lake District Composite School, in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada. I will graduate in 2013. My GPA is 3.9.

         I am 5'5”, 140 pounds and I have been swimming for 8 years with the Kirkland Lake Aquatic Club. I currently hold 24 club records, I am a 3 time Eastern Nationals qualifier, 3 time Age Group Nationals qualifier, a 3 time Canada/Quebec Cup qualifier, a 14 time Ontario Jr. Provincial qualifier, a 5 time Ontario Sr. Provincial qualifier, Ontario Summer Games qualifier and a multi-time NEOR (regional) All-Star. As well I tied for female the High-Point Award in 2010-2011, and won it outright in 2011-2012.  

          I am looking for a school that will provide me with the best education possible,  also with a balance between academics and competition. I am looking for a school that will provide me with an education in the medical field, bio-medical sciences. Ideally I would enjoy being in a program that I can contribute to as early as possible.

          I plan to continue working hard in school and swimming,  with the goal of going to the best school possible,  to continue my education and swim at the highest level. I also look forward to having a well rounded and enjoyable experience throughout the process.
