As a young child, I was always afraid of water until the age of 7, when it was required to learn to swim in school. From the day I conquered my fear and jumped in the pool, I knew the close connection I had with swimming and the fearless attitude I had for myself. Since the age of 9 I had always dreamed at swimming at collegiate level.
I am a very competitive swimmer who is also a positive team leader. Whether I am in or out of the pool, I am a very encouraging person.Through swimming I’ve learned how determined I am and I would like to push myself more at the collegiate level. With being a leader, I am also one who loves to learn new things and techniques.
I aspire to attend a college where I am able to push myself in the pool and also in the classroom. In the classroom, I maintain a good GPA and study hard no matter what. I hope to become a role model for anyone and make my parents, family, and coaches proud.
