MACKENZIE DONAHUE '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello!

I am Mackenzie Donahue. I am currently in my junior year at Indiana Senior High School. My goal is to attend college. I also hope to swim while attending a university.

In school I am involved in a number of activities. This school year I will be serving as the Vice President of our school's Student Government club. I have been involved in Student Government for the past three years. In school I am also a member of Key Club, and I enjoy volunteering within our community. My interests in school mostly revolve around math and science. I am also a very involved member of our school's art department. I am in enrolled in all accelerated courses at my school where I maintain a 3.9 GPA and achieve high honors mostly every grading period.

Within our community I am often found at our local public pool or YMCA where I work as a lifeguard. I have been working as a lifeguard for the past two years.

Sports have also made a major impact on my life. I have been swimming for the past eleven years. I am a member of both our YMCA and High School swim team. In YMCA swimming I compete in our District meet every year. In High School swimming I have qualified and attended WPIALs every year that I have been a member of the team. During my freshman year I was awarded with our team's Guy Dosh Memorial Award. My best strokes in swimming include breaststroke and freestyle. I am also more of a distance swimmer. In the future I hope to continue my swimming career through college.
