Marinanicole Miller '11 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'5" tall and weigh about 135 pounds. I have been swimming competively since I was 10 years old. I have qualified for YMCA districts, states, and nationals. I was the PIAA regional high school champion in the 200 freestyle for the past 2 years and the 500 freestyle champion last year. I placed 17th at high school states last year in the 500. I am a team captain for my high school team this year. I love doing well at the end of the season and in order to do that I know that I have to work hard throughout the year at practice. I only swim about 2-3 hours a day, depending on the day, and swim anywhere from 5500 meters to 8000 meters a day. I do not want to go to college in Pennsylvania; I want to try living in a new place. I would like to go to a medium to large sized college and plan on majoring in English and perhaps a minor in business. I would like to be able to swim all four years in college and compete at big meets.
