Stephanie Dymond '11 Recruiting Profile

I am 17 years old and a junior in high school. I have been swimming for 11 years either part time or full time. I am 127 pounds and I am 5'10''. I am open to going to college anywhere within the United States and I would go to any school that supports my major focus of advertising and marketing. I have wanted to focus on swimming more, but just do not have the opportunity and I especially would like to swim at the next level in college. I am a leader in the water as well as in other sports and academics. When I love what I am doing I work my hardest to make it happen. I currently hold the backstroke record at my high school with a 1.04.74. My goals for my senior year in high school are to drop my times in my 100 free, 100 back, and 50 free and also to make it to States. To make my current goals happen, I work out in some fashion all the time. I compete in track and cross country when not swimming and if I am not swimming or running, I focus on weight training. In support of my senior year, I am now working with my current high school coach to get my shoulder strength greater so that I can focus on my goals of dropping my times in all my focus events.
