Kallie Lyle '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a swimmer. I have been a swimmer since the age of four when I began swim lessons. My love for swimming has only grown since then. I have played various other sports over the years but the constant one in my life has been swimming. At the age of seven I began swimming for Whitehall Waves Aquatic Club until I aged out of the school program. However I continued with the Whitehall Waves Aquatic Club summer league and am currently still swimming for them. I began swimming for the varsity swim team in the ninth grade. Also at this time, I became a part of the junior coaching staff for the Whitehall Waves Aquatic Club. My passion to be a swimmer extends to helping the up and coming swimmers find their passion as well. My career has included swimming freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly. I may not have had the means to join a club team but I go out there everyday and give it my all. Swimming has helped shape me into the person I am today. I have learned dedication, team work, perseverance, and self control. I have also learned to push myself and others on my team helping us all to grow. Through all of this I have maintained a 4.0 GPA, take honors classes, and belong to several clubs and honors societies.  I am currently interested in studying criminal justice or business. I would love the opportunity to be on a collegiate swim team and think I would be a good addition to your swim team.
