Personal Statement
I have always loved swimming. From the moment I learned to swim all I wanted to do was be in the water. Success is what I crave every time I step onto the pool deck whether it be in practice or at a meet. I cannot imagine my college career not including swimming, as it is a large part of who I am. I strive for excellence in everything I do, whether it be in the classroom or in the pool. At the college level, I want to be a strong academic and athletic representative for the school that I attend. My strong competitive nature and desire to succeed carries into the classroom and I have learned how to manage my time so that I can be a strong competitor in the pool and in the classroom.
