Elizabeth Harris '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Elizabeth Harris and I live in Mansfield, TX.  I will be graduating from Mansfield High School in June of 2016. My immediate goal is to be accepted into a prestigious university to study Marine Biology and to swim on an elite team!
I believe a person should strive to be the best person they can be! For example, from my favorite quote written by Bob Cousy, says “Do your best when no one is looking. If you do that, then you can be successful in anything that you put your mind to.” I live by this quote daily! I am a very, positive, hardworking person that has excellent character! In my club swimming career I started at the bottom just like any other beginner swimmer but with my dedication and love for swimming I have continued on for over seven years and still continuously exceling! Throughout my club swimming career I have grown as a swimmer and as a person! Not only in speed and physical strength but in mental and emotional strength as well! I love what swimming has become for me… a way of life. I hope you will give me the opportunity to continue at your university!
Over the past two years in high school, with my dedication and passion for the sport, I am making my way up to the top! Although I have not reached my full potential or peak yet, I am proud that I have consistently improved my times! For example, in my sophomore year in high school I made the “A” finals at Regionals and I’m hoping for my junior and senior year to achieve fast enough times to qualify for state!
I promise you, I am the most positive, hardest worker you will ever meet! With the right coach and my tenacious will power and drive I believe the sky is the limit! I appreciate you for taking your time out of your day to check out my profile!
