I'VE ACCEPTED A SCHOLARSHIP IN WOMEN'S WRESTLING. THANK YOU FOR CHECKING MY PROFILE.
I am a very competitive athlete, having participated in several sports during my youth. I am a member of my High school's Varsity swim team, Wrestling team, and Softball team. My passion is swimming. Family finances kept me out of the pool in my younger years but, joining the team my sophomore year, I qualified for District finals, and State Championship finals, finishing 5th and 3rd. My team selected me as "Rookie of the year".
In the 2014 season, I have qualified for Districts in 10 events. Three of those qualification were done, not just taking first in the competition, but also the first time I'd ever swam the events in Competition. I am a Free Sprinter, swimming individual events and anchor on relays.. I've qualified districts in every event I have competed in, including 100 Back, 100 Fly, and 500 free. 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 400 free relay, 400 medley relay. 200 IM. District competition is limited to 4 events per athlete. However, I have the fastest times for my team in 7 events. I was recently appointed Team captain, for the 2015 season.
I have a dedicated work ethic, practicing twice a day. I've worked hard to close the gap between myself and my competitors, who have been swimming for several years. while I wish I'd had the advantage of more swimming in my younger years, I know I can compete and beat swimmers with much more experience. Nature has blessed me with a "Swimmers body", and I am very strong.
***AMENDMENT 2/27/15... Chloe' ended her 2015 wrestling season as the runner up (2nd place) in the WA State Championship.Chloe' has only been wrestling for 14 months, and lost the championship round to a young woman with 14 YEARS experience, a 3 time state champion and current National champion. This is a true reflection of Chloe's competitive spirit.
When swim season ends, I am on the Wrestling team. One of just 3 girls. 2013 was my first season, I'm just into the first month of my second year wrestling, and am thus far, 11-1. I love wrestling, for the physical challenges it presents. The strength and endurance training really push my physical limits. I also play on my School's softball team, Varsity both my Freshman and Sophomore years, and will continue to do so. I pitch, and play Third base or short stop.
I am a member of my Schools Orchestra, playing the violin, and am a member of the chamber ensemble . I also play Piano. I am a member of my school's ASB Counsel, and have held regular part time employment for the past 2 years. (To aid my single parent mom with expenses).
I would love to continue to college and compete in swimming, and perhaps other sports. I would like to study in Health Sciences, and become a registered nurse, perhaps a Nurse practitioner. Given the blessings of financial aide, I'd love to become a Physician!
