I am Grace Deering, and I am a junior in high school. I have been swimming since I was six years old. From the first time I mastered a flip turn, I loved the sport and knew that my life wouldn't be the same without it. I have competed at the WIAA Division 2 State Meet all three years of my high school career. Nothing compares to the feeling of standing on the podium at State with your teammates, the girls who have turned more into sisters than competitors. I have been on record-breaking relays and aspire to break more school records in my final swim season of high school.
Out of the water, I am involved in many extracurriculars, including National Honor Society, Student Council, Future Business Leaders of America, Medical Club, and Key Club. I maintain a 4.0 GPA and High Honor Roll status. I am considered a great leader amongst coaches, leaders, and peers.
I am open to many different college atmospheres, and ultimately want to find the right match.
