2023 Highlights Personal Statement
I began tennis at 14 years old as a hobby however at 15 decided it was something I wanted to develop more intensely. During these three years I have gone through bad coaches, hard decisions between school and my passion, and injuries I had to overcome. Attending the number 1 school for academics meant I had the constant pressure of school on my shoulders however I maintained my honor roll and good grades to excel. I told myself I had to work 10 times as hard since everyone around me started at 3 or 6. I have developed my skills through hard work and dedication and will do more.
