Hi, my name is Prisha and I am part of the varsity high school tennis team, and was instrumental in taking our division three school to a division one school in girls tennis by winning CIF during my freshman year. I have been team captain for two years. I enjoy the team environment as it helps us learn from each other. I enjoy being able to motivate and encourage my team, but I also like being able to rely on them for moral support at any time. I feel like my on court experience helps me guide and help the team when we are in tough situations.
I am currently a four star on tennis recruiting, and have an 8.5 UTR. I would consider myself an aggressive player, with my most attacking shots being my backhand and serves. I feel proud about the fact that I was able to turn my weakest part of my game, my serve, into a weapon for me. I train up to four hours a day, and have been working on my fitness, strength, and movement since the age of ten. I have been lucky enough to be a part of a facility that specializes in training college athletes.
I would like to major in either business or computer science. I have always seen the business side of things around my house with my dad owning his own business, and with the advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning I feel like computer science could give me an opportunity to make an impact on our future.
I am looking forward to being able to add value to the team through my strengths, skills, and positive attitude!
