Personal Statement
I am a competitive player and seek to win at the end of every match. During my 2021 tennis season, I had an overall record of 27-1. At state, I competed for the 1st State Tennis Mixed title and achieved it without dropping a set. The one match that I lost in my season was Districts due a back injury, but still stuck it out till the end. Me still playing in Districts even though I had a severe injury, really shows who I am as a person. I would rather try then to give up knowing I did not give it all I had. A good trait that I hold to myself is being ambitious and self-driven. In order to be the best version of myself I do not give up on myself nor people around me. I carry a strong, hardworking, and passionate mentality to allow opportunities of achieving high expectations in sports and in my academics.
