Sydney Goering '21 Recruiting Profile

During the five years prior to high school I competed in competitive swimming for 4 years and cross country for 5 years. I have always loved to compete and be part of a team. The summer of my freshmen year I picked up a tennis racquet and fell in love with the sport.  I have played year-round ever since.  In my second year I was asked to play on the varsity team.  I have played doubles on varsity for the past three years and am currently part of the number 1 doubles team and team captain.  I continue to work hard during the off season at a tennis club with private and group lessons.  I enjoy the game and the competitive fast pace of doubles and want to continue to play and progress in this sport.
