Personal Statement
Tennis has run in my family for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching my sister play and I lived at the tennis courts at a young age. I play 6-7 days every week for 4-5 hours with my 2 assistant coaches during the spring-fall when the season begins again. In the winter I play club tennis and begin to manage the boys at the end of February once their season starts up. Tennis is an all year thing for me whether the weather permits it or not. Whether it's watching matches of professionals or playing every possible time I can, I am always striving to be a better player. I'm more than willing to put in the work to succeed for my team and for myself. I listen to criticism, I'm very outgoing, I like to keep the energy on the court and stay positive even when I'm down in a match. Throughout my years of being a student athlete I have learned to manage my school work and my tennis life. I maintain good grades and a 4.0 GPA while playing tennis. I'm very organized and dedicated to keeping my school and tennis life at the top level. Tennis has been a sport I completely fell in love with and I do not want to give it up when I reach the college level. It is a sport I would like to continue on with to bigger and better things.
